Life is Amazing

Everyone has their own definition of life. Some says it’s a journey, a trip. Some would say it’s a struggle, a competition to reach the top spot. Some would say life is beautiful while others may find it hard and argue that it would leave you physically, mentally and emotionally scarred. 

As I sit leaning my back head against the wall, my body well rested on bed and as I think of past, I’d say life is me. It’s all me and no one else. It’s me who make it a journey, it’s me who make It beautiful and it’s me who make it difficult and painful.

They say everything is destined in life. Part of it might be true. For instance, I’ve never thought I’d be working here in Bajura. I've never thought that i'd be a civil engineer, at first place. Well I’ve never thought that I would be writing this. Life is freakily spontaneous. You may have control on yourself but not on many things that doesn’t depend on you, but has major influence on you. Life just happens whether it leaves you with ecstasy or sadness.

But everyone wants to be happy and only few fortunate have that ability to make and be. Lord Buddha at his time, set out to find the mystery of life. He could not see people around him suffering and finally after getting enlightened he spread the message of love, peace and life. Also, there are many religious books which tries to decipher the eternal happiness of life like Bible, Bhagwat gita and many others. Every words written on it might be true or may not be, it doesn’t matter, it’s all up to you. Saying this, I am not against any religion. But believe me my friend, the greatest religion is your belief.

It’s your thoughts that dictate your future. It’s what you imagine, you go for. I challenge this destined part of life, though just like mentioned before, I confess that I have no control over most part of it.

I have a dream and a plan. Here, I am gonna share it. I don’t know what I am destined for but I’m gonna create my own here. Lets see if I can write my own destiny. I am currently working in RAP3. I have a habit of completing things that I’ve started, so I’m thinking of completing my 3 years programme here. Then I’d complete my masters going abroad and work for 2+ yrs until I have enough money to start my own restaurant that features live music and 24 hrs service (optional). Yeah, sounds silly but I have that dream to have a restaurant of my design and during weekends I along with loved ones would party.

What is more silly of it is that, im working on road sector and have no prior experience of designing even a simple residential home. But this is the challenge. My destiny showing me the road sector, and may be someday I’ll be expert on this but still my dream is to design a grand restaurant and see it coming to life. Life’s funny, I completed my bachelors in civil engineering with specialization in hydropower, I’m working on road sector and have a dream of designing a grand restaurant that would belong to me.

I hope to achieve all this by the time I turn 30. Uff, 30, only if I could stop time and progress. There’s many things to accomplish in life and its too damn f*cking short to waste it. Right now I’m 23 and coming November I’ll be 24. I’m pretty much happy till now for the things that I’ve accomplished so far, the places I’ve been and the people & culture I’ve been through.

I hope to grow up more with more sound and mature decision. To grow up I’m ready to face any difficulties and pain god place in front of me. I hope to overcome it and so far I’ve been doing it with the help of one that puts in front of me. Yeah! God, I know by doing this everytime, you are trying to teach me something valuable life lesson and am eternally grateful to you. 

I want my life to be just like the quote, by Hunter S. Thompson, “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow! What a Ride!'”
