2 Pigeons Speaks 2 ......
I was lucky enough to snap the photographs (shown below) of two pigeons through my window. I was lying back in my bed, the very reason was load shedding and I saw two pigeons trying’ to depict me, what love is?
As I was looking out of the window, one pigeon flew across and stood on the roof. I thought of taking a photograph of it, as the view was mesmerizing with nature. Again, I laid back to my bed with that pigeon under my consideration. Another pigeon stood beside that very pigeon. They were close to each other. It seemed they were sharing their unexpressed feelings.
I hurriedly unleashed my camera. I was watching those two birds and many thoughts were evolving inside my head. They kissed (probably). I didn’t know what they did, but they were resting their beak against each other. It kinda’ similituded love.
Mother called me downstairs for lunch. After I had a tasty meal, prepared from my mom, I was back to my room; my bed. To my surprise, those birds were still there. This time they were turning their head in opposite directions as if there has been some dispute between them. And finally, one flew away, and one was left alone.
Nature is always explaining. By those birds, I was made to realize that in love, there are times of romance and also despair. There are times of sharing and caring-long talks and there are times when you are left all alone. I was made to realize that it was not only we humans who are necessiated by love but also all living beings and this had sustained the whole world.
By love, I don’t mean only the love that’s between the opposite sex. I’m meaning to every kinds of love that exist. Like a love towards your parents, brotherhood, love towards your work, avocation, and many others. What if those pigeon were a child and a mother, and a mother feeding her child? By here, I mean to say those pigeons which are symbols of peace conveyed me the meaning of love, that is being, So close no matter how far.
